relaxation reducing stress, greater mental focus, enhanced conflict monitoring, reflexive awareness (being in the moment), enabling the zone, non-judgmental alertness, effective response to emotions (fear, anxiety, distress) and avoiding a breakdown of cognitive/motor behavior when faced with high stress.
